Beechwood confers warmth to the environment and matches well with both modern and classic furnishings. Peel realised with 3 planks held together by metal pins inserted inside the wood, avoiding the use of glues and ensuring natural movement.

The pizza maker who chooses the wood needs to move and then pull the pizza with their hands over the peel before placing it in the oven, or place it directly on top of the peel. The line is similar to other Gi.Metal lines: in the shape of the head, in the front bevel that facilitates the lifting of the pizza, in the handle made in the same oval shape and in the same length as that
used for the aluminium peels. The peel head is not a single piece, but rather it is made of 3 wooden axes held together by hidden steel joints inside the structure, thus avoiding the
use of adhesives (to avoid the heat generating fumes) and supporting the natural movement of the wood. This prevents premature breakage due to the natural expansion of the material.

 

 

Material
The material used is evaporated beech wood, treated without any adhesives and with special natural non-toxic treatments certified, for food use. This treatment avoids attachment of the dough on
the peel and aids sliding. Food coming into contact with the wood does not alter its composition, provided periodic and adequate cleaning is carried out in accordance with current food hygiene regulations (Law 283/62, Presidential Decree No. 327/80).
